ATC just completed another spectacular Fire trailer. This air trailer included everything you need for refilling your breathing air tanks in a remote scenario. The back half of the trailer was fitted with filling station and containment unit, DOT bottles and storage for the scba bottles. In the front of the breathing air and rehab trailer was everything the firemen will need to rest and be revitalized. It also works as a mini’ command center. The rehab area has plenty of seating, bathroom, heat and air conditioning to recharge the crew during the long mission. As you will see almost every inch of this trailer served a purpose.

Mobile office trailers are a specialized product that many companies build exclusively. Mobile office trailers are usually built very cheaply for construction sites or mechanical contracting sites. They are constructed to be parked in one place for a very long time and there fore the running gear of most mobile office trailers built by these companies are not made to withstand many miles on the road. Mobile office trailers that ATC builds are a bit more expensive but are built to last longer and perform better on the road. At times there are mobile office trailers that are treated as a throw away product that will only last a few years and then need to be replaced. The hassle of buying a new mobile office is difficult and the longer one lasts and meets the mobile office customer’s needs. Sometimes mobile office trailers require multiple talents to do well at. We have to have a wide variety of strengths to build well. We need to be able build a product for the mobile office customer that lasts and performs well in a variety of climates and harsh environments. Longevity is also important with mobile office trailers.

There are so many applications for mobile power trailers. ATC has designed and built what we call the mobile air, power, and light trailer. The fire industry needs a way to provide light, air, and power to the disaster scene. Our air, power and light trailers come with a powers 20 Kw diesel generator. This allows enough power to light up the scene and run air equipment that is used to fill the tanks for the fire breathing apparatus. Our air trailer is compact enough to be pulled with a ¾ ton truck but also provides enough room for the bottles to be easily filled from the inside of standing outside of the trailer. It helps us insure the job is done correct without having to worry about tough environment on the outside of the mobile power trailer. ATC is about to build a beautiful air power and light trailer that also provides a rehabilitation area for the fireman to recharge during deployment. Have you ever wondered if what you read in the newspapers or see on television is true or accurate? Especially if it is an advertisement or a commercial, you have to wonder!
Well my wife and I were watching television a few weeks ago and a commercial came on for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Alliance. All I can figure out is that it must be an umbrella group or an industry trade association putting out their message. The spokeswoman was talking about all the great things that do for America’s energy independence, and how reliable it is (this was before the gas rig accident in the Gulf of Mexico). Then she mentioned how this industry creates 9 million jobs for America because of their efforts.
Now my wife being somewhat skeptical to begin with said, “well that’s a little hard to believe”. Of course I’m used to arguing with her, and I immediately said the spokeswoman was probably right. You see I work building all kinds of trailers (find us at www.aluminumtrailer.com) and it just so happens that we build specialty trailers.
In this case we build specialty trailers for you guessed it the Gas industry.
We have built specialty trailers for oil well drilling, for soil sampling, for the work crews, for surveying, etc. We have built specialty trailers for at least eight different companies that I am sure are part of that organization. I can say for a fact they do create jobs for America, and I am thankful that one of them is mine. So the next time you read or see something making a claim. It just might true. Happy Trailering!
