Mobile Store Reaches Fans!

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

It’s no secret that Alabama is proud of it’s athletics and Alabama fans are proud to be a part as well. As a fan there is an obligation to present yourself as a fan no matter what sport your watching.  Sure, you can find Alabama shirts, hats and jerseys at a lot of different locations but if you want the real thing you have to buy from Alabama’s official store.  Every true fan knows that right?  Well what if you can’t get to the store before the big game?  What if you show up for the football game and have no Crimson Tide gear?  What if you show up for women’s soccer without your crimson colors?  Will your friends think you are less of a fan?  Will the team still win if you’re not dressed in full support gear?  Will the earth continue to spin?  Well Alabama doesn’t want you to face these difficult questions but simply enjoy the game.  That is why they have the mobile “The A Team – The Official Team Store”.   ATC and High Tech Performance Trailers Inc. teamed up to build this fantastic trailer for Alabama.  Watch for it to be at the next sporting event you attend and be sure to pick up some new merch while you’re there!

Hurricane Gustov

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Florida National Guard CommsWe’re all aware that hurricanes can do a great amount of damage quickly.  We watched as Gustov prepared to make landfall wondering if it would repeat the damage that hurricane Katrina did in 2005.  While thousands were evacuating their homes and millions were watching on TV the Florida National Gaurd was preparing to step in and help in any way they could.  Four teams went taking each taking a RERN (Regional Emergency Response Network) trailer with them.  ATC partnered with AGT to build these communication trailers.  What makes these trailers special is they were built to air lifted.  Two of the units deployed to Louisiana were sent via C-17 Military aircraft from McDill AFB.  We are proud to be able to build a trailer that is easily deployed and can be put into use quickly for the Florida National Guard.

Custom and Commercial Trailers

Monday, July 21st, 2008

We recently completed our Custom Trailers page and we are proud to show so many different types of custom and commercial trailers we have built recently.  We have added over 700 images in over 40 galleries!  The best part is that it’s only the tip of the iceberg.  We show you a lot of what we have done to give you ideas but we are not limited to those trailers.  In fact, our only limitation is your imagination.  We challenge you to design trailers that are unique to your needs.  Don’t settle for something close, have us build it exact!

It also keeps the budget down. You now have a truck that you can use for other needs. Call us today and we will help you get started with your next bid.

Mobile Wine Bottling

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

Mobile “Counter-Pressure” Bottling Now Available
By Bill Pregler
From Daily News Links, 04/17/2007
Prospero Equipment Company of Pleasantville, New York announced they are in the final assembly stages of the first mobile “counter pressure” bottling line in the United States. Featuring a GAI 1532 Isobaric monoblock the trailer will be capable of bottling any carbonated product. Isobaric bottling is performed under pressure, while still wine is bottled with non-pressurized, gravity-flow fillers. Winemakers who practice the “Charmat” style of sparkling wine production will now be able to utilize mobile services without having to purchase the expensive, specialized equipment. Charmat is a bulk process where sparkling wine is produced and fermented in pressurized stainless tanks as opposed to the traditional methode’ champenoise in individual bottles. It must also be bottled under continuous pressure, from the tank to the bottle, hence the specialized monoblock. In addition this versatile equipment is also capable of bottling beer and still wines. Initially the trailer was to operate primarily in the North East portion of the country, but already there is talk of visiting the mid-western states. Following the bottle rinser and filler, the bottling line will feature multiple turrets, containing a Technovin screw capping head, a crown capper for beers, and a corker capable of inserting sparkling wine style corks. The corker then will be followed with a Robino-Galandrino wire hooder. “This is a unique opportunity for the smaller producer of Charmat and micro beers to bottle their product,” said Danny Prospero, vice-president of the company. “The nine-spout filler bowl is designed for smaller runs of twenty-five bottles per minute, or about 1,000 cases per day” The U-shaped bottling line is being installed into a custom designed, heavy duty gooseneck trailer built by ATC (Aluminum Trailer Company) of Nappanee, Indiana. It will be self contained and feature on-board steam sterilization and filtration. It will not have labeling. Carbonated, counter pressure filling requires that cold bottling temperatures are maintained to keep CO2 suspended in the medium. A good analogy is the difference between opening a cold can of cola verses a warm can. Due to the inherent cold, condensation occurs on the outside of the full bottles, and as a result labels will not adhere. Bottles will be offloaded into bins or case good boxes and labeled later.
