Race Car Haulers

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

ATC has been building all aluminum race car haulers for almost 11 years now.  http://www.aluminumtrailer.com/car%20haulers take a look at the 2009 Quest with Plexiglas. This unique race car hauler is enclosed but allow people to see the race car or classic car that you want displayed.  This concept of race car hauler has also been used for marketing of new model year cars.

Our all aluminum race car haulers don’t just stop at the bumper pull versions we can build you a 53’ lift gate trailer as well.  Is your budget pretty tight?  Then consider our Motiv RSX race car hauler.  This is a steel framed version of our aluminum trailers.  ATC is very diversified and experienced in building race car haulers.  Please give us a call and we will help you get yours built.

Advantech Floor in ATC and Motiv Trailers

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Every once in a while we get customers asking us why we use Advantech floors in our trailers… Here’s the scoop.

There really is only one downside to Advantech and that is that customers sometimes initially think it is just cheap chipboard and we are cutting corners to save cost.  A simple look into Advantech proves otherwise.

The true facts are that Advantech was created by Huber Woods out Charlotte, North Carolina for the housing industry.  They created this board because housing contractors were complaining that the standard plywood sub floors on their houses were delaminating when it sat unprotected in the snow, sleet and rain.  Huber woods created Advantech to withstand the moisture that was destroying the plywood subfloors.  Advantech is a manufactured wood board but it is different than any other OSB on the market.  It is made with non-water soluble glue and it is compressed with 4 times the pressure than that of a normal OSB.  If you look at the board close up you will clearly see the difference between this board and any other OSB.

Advantech is used exclusively in our snowmobile trailers and it works better than any other product.  The snow comes and melts but it does not penetrate the board.  All you have to do is simply sweep the water out of the trailer.  Due to the density of the board it also does well holding up against the sharp snowmobile carbides.  With a plywood floor, you need to change the plywood every few years because the carbides tear the plywood to sheds.  With Advantech the carbides will scratch and mar the surface, but it will not penetrate the board.  We’ve seen many “well seasoned” snowmobile trailers come in with noting more than scratches on the floor… nothing like a plywood floor.

Another huge benefit Advantech provides is in on our wide body car haulers.  Advantech can be ordered in any width we want, whereas plywood can only be ordered in at 96″ wide.  On a 102″ wide body trailer that means that there has to be a silly 3” plywood seam the entire length of there trailer.  With Advantech we order our boards in at 99″ wide so it PERFECTLY fits into a wide body frame design.

Race Car Haulers

Friday, August 27th, 2010

We sure have grown up a fair bit since the first race car hauler we built and showed down in Daytona back in February of 2000.  I’ll be honest, that first ATC race car hauler trip to Daytona was a struggle.  Some of the top trim came off on my way down to Florida and my dad and I spent the better part of a day looking for it along the highway.  Somehow, by the grace of God, we found it!  We popped it back on and continued on the show.  To say we were a bit “green” in the race car hauler business would be quite an understatement.

I’m happy to say over the past 11 years we have done a lot of growing up and we have learned a tremendous amount from our customers and dealers.  We now find ourselves deep into the race car hauler business with an overflowing list of satisfied customers.  We thank all of you who helped us get here and have had a part in our success.

While we have learned a lot and enjoyed some success over the years, part of being a great company is never getting complacent.  I’m happy to say that we are continuing to grow and improve our race car haulers.  We invite you to see the new product launch at this years PRI (Performance Racing Industry) show in Orlando Florida.  We promise you will not be disappointed with the new look and features in our ATC and Motiv race car haulers.

Race Trailers

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Over the last 20 year the race trailer market has changed dramatically.  Back in the early 1990’s most of the race trailers were rather basic and served one purpose.  That purpose was to get a race car from point a to point b.  When you compare today’s race trailer with the race trailer of the 90’s the changes have been amazing. Current race trailers still serve the basic transportation purpose.  However, the style in which it is done has changed by leaps and bounds.

Race trailers now have as many options in the as you can think of, not just the basics.  Today’s race trailers come with complete electrical packages and full cabinet packages.  The interior of many race trailers is as nicely equipped as many homes or offices.  The interior of race trailers include aluminum walls, vinyl floors, carpet and air conditioning.

Since race trailers often sit at the race track all weekend long many are now equipped with bath rooms or even full blown living quarters!  These packages include all the luxury of a fine hotel room.  You can have your T.V.; surround sound, gas grill, inside and outside shower, and even a washer and dryer.

Race trailers have come a long way over the last 20 years.  If you are in the market for a state of the art race trailer, check out ATC and Motiv.  We build the highest quality race trailers on the planet.

The Aluminum Trailer Company

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

The Aluminum Trailer Company(ATC) is the premium manufacturer of enclosed cargo, specialty,  and auto trailers.  More and more trailer users are turning to ATC as our reputation for the highest quality continues to grow through out the trailer industry.

The Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC has been building trailers since 1999. ATC is located in Nappanee, Indiana, the heart of Amish country.  The company founders recognized the quality work force that was available in this area of northern Indiana and knew this was the place to build with unsurpassed quality.

ATC builds the only all aluminum frame trailer in the country.  Other manufactures add steel reinforcements on their race trailers.  Not ATC.  We build our trailer with a perimeter tube frame, tube side walls on 16” centers, and a sturdy 1”x 3” tube roof structure also on 16” centers.  This type of construction is what allows ATC to build one of the strongest and lightest trailers in the industry.

With ATC you can have it your way! We offer trailer sizes ranging from 5′ wide x 8′ long all the way up to 8.5′ wide x 53′ in length. No matter what your need may be, we can build a trailer that’s perfect for the job. You can customize any trailer to your personal taste thanks to thousands of options and custom options department.  ATC offers an amazing list of options for you to add to your trailer and over 13 different exterior colors

ATC offers a wide variety of trailers.  Our product line up includes open car haulers, motorcycle trailers, cargo trailers, enclosed car haulers, gooseneck car haulers, stackers, and specially designed commercial trailers.  We offer a vast array of options on trailers.

Owning the best costs little more than the other brands. Value is not just the purchase price, but rather what your trailer will cost you to own and operate over the long haul. The superior construction, attention-to-detail, expert and prompt customer service, and a higher resale price at trade-in time all equals more value for your dollar.

Check out ATC today.  You will be glad you did!

Race Car Haulers

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Sometimes our prospective new dealers ask us about the best ways to sell our aluminum race car haulers.  We have found out that just throwing a billboard up at the local race track or taking out a shiny new ad in next weeks motorsports periodical just may not be the best way to reach our customer.  The best way to get race car hauler sales for Motiv or ATC Trailers is to take our trailers out to the track and show people.

Yeah magazine ads looks good and billboards catch a lot of eyes, but what helps ATC / Motiv Trailers win is showing customers face-to-face why our trailers are better.   Our fit-and-finish is second to none, our full perimeter tube frame cannot be beat, and how about a true and fair warranty that we actually pay in less than 30 days (try getting that from the other guys out there).

ATC and Motiv Race car haulers aren’t just better, we are competitively priced too.  I’m not going to say that our price isn’t important, but no where in our sales pitch is price our primary selling point.  Our race car haulers sell because they are the best ones out there… any yes we are competitively priced.

Go to our dealer locater or check us out at the track next weekend and you’ll see why seeing is believing!

Enclosed Trailers

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

You could have had an enclosed trailer.  My guess is that many people think they can’t afford an enclosed trailer but have they considered all of the advantages?  First of all what did you spend on the equipment or toys you are transporting.  An enclosed trailer will keep them safe and secure.  Also an enclosed trailer will help keep your investments out of the public eye, I am sure you have heard the saying out of sight out of mind.  With an enclosed trailer you also create mobile storage for your toys. You also now have a mobile garage to work on your toys when you get to your destination.  Motiv and ATC have launched an all new line of inexpensive enclosed trailers called the ravin light series.  You might be surprised how inexpensive it can be to get a quality built enclosed trailer.  Check out our enclosed trailers on our website at www.aluminumtrailer.com

Enclosed Trailers

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

Do you know what the difference is between inclose or enclose?   Or the variants of those inclosed or enclosed?   Well as it turns out there isn’t any difference they both mean the same thing. However the preferred spelling or usage just happens to be “enclosed”.   Now that may not mean much to most people but I just happen to be in the business of making enclosed trailers, and since we advertise we really do try to get things like spelling and grammatical nuances correct.  I don’t know how much longer that will actually be important in the age of texting and twitter it seems that you can just make things up as you go along.

Let’s get back to that enclosed trailers thing for a moment.  Of course you were wondering what that means?   Well weren’t you?   An enclosure structurally is like a fence around property or more specifically like a porch on your house, but now you put glass around it.   Voila! You now have an enclosed room that used to be an open to the weather porch.  That may not mean much to some people, but try reading the Sunday morning paper on your porch in Indiana in January.  You would immediately understand why enclosing it with glass makes a lot of sense.   If I built enclosed porches, I would continue down this path but I don’t so I won’t.

I make enclosed trailers (www.aluminumtrailer.com) and I was just trying to get my point across in a way most people would understand.  You can buy many types of trailers and many of them are open like your front porch, and they work very well for some things, but if you want things dry and not exposed to the elements of the weather you need an enclosed trailer.  What kind of enclosed trailer? Well I could tell you now but that would spoil my fun.  LOL (that’s one of those texting things I was talking about).  Maybe next time we can talk about the different kinds of enclosed trailers, until then Happy Trailering!

Race Trailer

Friday, May 21st, 2010

If you are in the market for a race trailer, congratulations, you have come to the right place.  ATC and Motiv have become know as market leaders in the race trailer business.  So you might ask, what really makes ATC and Motiv different from the countless other brands out there?  And the answer to that is “Everything”

No where in our sales pitch will you ever hear us taut that we are cheaper than the other guy.  We’re simply not the cheapest race trailer in the business, nor do we want to be.  If you’re looking for cheapest price you need to get yourself down to South Georgia and go shopping.  If you are looking for value and quality of ownership, that’s were ATC and Motiv come in.

We build our aluminum and steel race trailers on a full perimeter tube frame which provides commercial grade quality.  Our workmanship is second to none.  And let’s talk about warranty too.  We don’t have near the warranty issues as our competitors, due to our forward thinking engineering process, but once in a while we do make mistakes.  Not only do we pay our warranty claims, (which now days is becoming a rarity) but we offer industry-leading customer service though the process.  Try getting that out of South Georgia!

Remember that thing your dad told you when you were younger about the fact that you always get what you pay for…  Well that has never been truer.  At ATC and Motiv our prices are competitive and our product shines above the rest.  Please allow us to show you why ATC and Motiv have risen to the top of the race trailer market.

Race Trailers

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

Wow, this was my first time at Limrock for a Porsche Club event with the fine folks from the CVR (Connecticut Valley Region).  I was able to sit back and catch up with many of our ATC customers and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Porsches screaming around the track.  And let me tell you, with the mufflers off, there really aren’t words to explain the sense of excitement that comes from hearing the Porsches let out a banshee-wail as they come out of the final corner heading onto the straight away.

Driving around the paddock was rewarding as I was able to catch up and thank many of our ATC and Motiv customers for choosing our trailers.  Let’s be honest Porsche guys are performance oriented folks that recognize quality and precision craftsmanship.  That is why it meant so much to me to see out trailers so well represented at this event.  I was proud that of the oodles and oodles of trailers out there, ATC and Motiv appeared to be the most represented brand.  I guess a lot of our hard work back at the factory is paying off.

And if I didn’t mention one of my favorite parts of attending Limerock, I just wouldn’t be doing this story justice.  Being handed the keys to my choice of Porsche and taking test laps was out-of-this-world exciting.  While I am still pretty green at racing, it was exhilarating to say the least, to be sitting behind the wheel of such and incredible race machine taking laps.  Thanks to Chip and all the other kind folks at Danbury Porsche for your hospitality.

To all the CVR members, thanks for your continued support of ATC and Motiv Trailers and keep the petal to the metal!  We’ll see you again next year at Limerock!

Cargo Trailers and Enclosed Trailers

Friday, April 16th, 2010

When it comes to enclosed trailers we at ATC can build just about anything.  From the $1500 cargo trailer up to the $200,000 command center.  Everything in between those two items we have the ability to build.  Last spring we noticed that we have the capacity to build more trailers than we were building so we introduced our raven lite line of cargo trailers.  We have always excelled in building larger enclosed trailers that require more engineering capabilities.  Enclosed trailers in this category are much different than building simple cargo trailers.   We have a special kind of workforce that has the capability finish out the enclosed trailers in a special way.  Customers that buy larger and more expensive enclosed trailers have higher standards and higher expectations about what the product needs to do and look like.  Many enclosed trailers, unlike cargo trailers, have to be approached with a project mentality rather than a trailer that’s going to run down the line in a day or so.  These enclosed trailers test the limits of most manufacturers and typically end with an unsatisfied customer and dealer.  Cargo trailers have customers and needs that are much easier to meet expectations.  We have been constantly challenged by unique enclosed trailer needs and are able to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.  As we have developed our line of lower cost cargo trailers, we have been surprised by the number of customers that are willing to pay a bit more for a nicer product.  Our cargo trailer line has been especially popular with people that want a low cost trailer that has a lighter weight aluminum frame.  Our cargo trailers are available with a low cost aluminum upgrade that has been very popular, especially with our Canadian customers.  We can offer cargo trailer dealers the ability to sell a large custom product to a large or demanding enclosed trailer application.    We are quickly becoming a recognized name in a very crowded enclosed trailer market.

Race Trailers

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

It’s certainly not everyday that work is as interesting as it was when I spent the weekend a couple of years ago at Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. You see my job on the operations and production side of the business usually means staying at the plant. Don’t’ misunderstand me! I really enjoy building trailers (cargo trailers, specialty trailers, and race trailers) of all types and sizes. My job is very challenging and most of the time quite rewarding. However, there is a very detached and remote aspect of building something but then never seeing it actually being used.

The process of designing, engineering, and building specialized and very personal race trailers for customers really hit home when I actually saw them in use. The event was an SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) weekend of races. It ran from Friday to Sunday with nine distinct race divisions. There were race cars of every shape, size, age, and class. They ranged from open wheeled race cars (formerly used on the professional circuit) to cars with only factory installed equipment. Of course the only way to get those cars to the track was with a race trailer.

That’s where I come in. Did I mention that I build trailers for a living, in this case race trailers! There will well over 300 trailers at the event from at least 30 different manufacturers. Well of course everyone there is watching the race, but I’m going around looking at all the race trailers. They were as different and as varied as the race cars themselves. Some were simple (a box on wheels), while others were incredibly detailed and complex. They all served a purpose and from talking to the owners they were as proud of their trailers as they were of their cars.

Yes. I did eventually get around to watching a few of the races and that was fun, but certainly not as much fun if I could have been driving in the race. If you are interested in some really cool race trailers check out www.aluminumtailer.com

By the way that’s where I work, and as I said one of these days I really need to get away from the plant. Maybe I could build a trailer for you, then you could let me wreck ‘er I mean race your car.

Car haulers

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Car haulers cover a wide range of trailers.  Ranging from 16 foot open car haulers to a 53 foot fully enclosed transporter car hauler, there are car haulers to meet your specific needs.

Price is one consideration.  Open car haulers are the least expensive of the car haulers.  You can purchase 18 foot open car haulers for $2,000.  Nicely equipped 24 foot enclosed car haulers set up for the weekend race enthusiast could be purchased for less than $15,000.  Whereas, fully equipped enclosed 53 foot car haulers could carry a sticker price in excess of $250,000.

Weight of the car haulers is another consideration.  Federal licensing requirements, and federal excise taxes are based on gross vehicle weight ratings of car haulers in combination with the GVWR of the tow vehicle.  Car haulers with a GVWR of 26,000 pounds or more require special licensing for the driver and additional federal excise taxes are due at time of registration.

Most important in determining the right car hauler is how it will be used.  Will the car hauler be used to haul only one type of vehicle or is it multi use?  Do the dimensions of the vehicle(s) to be hauled require special car hauler configurations or dimensions?  Is it used primarily for storage or will you be using it also as a portable garage?  Will you haul other equipment with you in the car hauler which would require additional storage bins, cabinets, hanging racks, etc?  Will you always have the ability to power the car hauler with shore power or will you require on board power generation?  All things to be discussed with your local dealer who can help you determine the right car hauler for you.

Enclosed Aluminum Car Trailer

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

The Aluminum Trailer Company(ATC) has been building car trailers since 1999. ATC is located in Nappanee , Indiana, the heart of Amish country.  The company founders recognized the quality work force that was available in this area of northern Indiana and knew this was the place to build a world class all aluminum car trailer.

ATC builds the only all aluminum frame car trailer in the industry.  Other manufactures add steel reinforcements on their race trailers.  Not on  ATC’s enclosed car trailer.  We build our car trailer with a perimeter tube frame, tube side walls on 16″ centers, and a sturdy 1″x 3″ tube roof structure also on 16″ centers.  This type of construction is what allows ATC to the strongest and lightest car trailers in the industry.

ATC offers a vast array of options on car trailers. We can custom design an all aluminum car trailer to meet your needs.  Our extensive list of options includes generators, compressors, 12 volt and 110 volt electrical, floor coverings,  wall coverings, concession doors, interior car lifts, rear lift gates, aluminum cabinets, and that is just the tip of the iceburg.  You name it and we can probably  do it!

ATC builds enclosed aluminum car trailers in both a tag, or pull behind version as well as gooseneck or fifth wheel models.  You can design a custom car trailer in lengths from 16′ to 34′ in our tag models and our gooseneck models come in lengths from 28′ to 53′.

Check out an ATC car trailer today.  You will be glad you did!

Aluminum Car Haulers

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

There are many choices available in aluminum car haulers.  You know the benefits of aluminum, lighter weight, resistant to road salt and corrosion.  You know you want an aluminum car hauler, but the choices still seem endless.  Here are a few things to look for as you compare different aluminum car haulers.

First, look at the foundation of the aluminum car hauler, the frame.  Is it a full perimeter frame with 16′ floor joists that provides the greatest strength, construction just like your home or is the frame of the aluminum car hauler made with main rails running on the interior of the trailer and outriggers?  What materials are being used?  Is it structural aluminum of the appropriate size and thickness to support the rigors of transporting or is it basic tube steel made with a cheaper aluminum alloy?  Is the frame of the aluminum car hauler completely aluminum designed and engineered from the ground up as an aluminum trailer or is it a steel construction frame with aluminum substituted in some high visibility areas?

Secondly, check out the manufacturer of aluminum car haulers.  At Aluminum Trailer Company, we started with building aluminum car haulers from the ground up.  Our engineering and design teams have years of experience working with aluminum.  That’s all we do.

When you are in the market for aluminum car haulers, look for an ATC authorized dealer.  Visit our website at www.aluminumtrailer.com for a complete list of dealers along with galleries of many unique aluminum car haulers and an array of other enclosed all aluminum trailers

In the market for an open car hauler trailer?

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Let me suggest items you should look for in an Open Car Hauler Trailer.

The first question you need to answer is your preference for aluminum or steel.  Steel trailers will be less expensive than their aluminum counterpart, but weighs more and is susceptible to corrosion from road salt, grime, and the weather, whereas aluminum is corrosion resistant and will generally last longer and look better under the same conditions.

The next important question to answer is what are your weight requirements?  Do you have the right tow vehicle for the weight rating of the trailer?  What is the weight of the vehicle you will load on the trailer?  An 18′ open car hauler trailer can weigh anywhere from 1,200# to 2,000# depending on whether it is made of aluminum or steel, and options selected.  You are fine with tandem 3,500# axles if your vehicle and cargo weight less than 5,000#, but you may want to consider heavier axles to increase the carrying capacity of your trailer if your vehicle weighs more than 5,000# or if you are intending to haul other cargo with the vehicle that would exceed 5,000# in weight.

You will also want to know some specific measurements of your vehicle, ground clearance, wheel base, door clearance, overall length and width are all important to insure your car can be properly loaded and secured on your new open car hauler trailer.

Equipped with this information, you’re now ready to start looking at trailers.  There are many brands of open car hauler trailers available.  Different brands offer different specialties.  Look for the following: ramp dimensions, load ratings, and ramp storage; deck height, stabilizer jacks for loading, removable or permanently fastened fenders, radial tires or bias ply, LED or incandescent lighting.  All of these differ with brands and will have a significant impact on your experience with your open car hauler trailer.

Aluminum Car Hauler Trailer

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

If you’re into racing, by necessity, you’re probably also into car hauler trailers…and you know there is a huge variety of them out there.  More than likely you have purchased more than one – and if so, you know that one of the first decisions you have to make is whether to build your trailer out of aluminum or steel.  Steel frame trailers have been around longer and certainly cost less than aluminum; however, aluminum has become extremely popular for all types of trailers, including car haulers.

What are the advantages, you ask?  Why would anyone pay more for aluminum?  Well, the first one most people talk about is the weight difference.  Aluminum is definitely lighter than steel.  The average aluminum frame is 10 to 20 percent lighter than the identical steel frame.  However, that isn’t the only benefit.  One of the best things about aluminum is its rust and corrosion resistance.  Your aluminum trailer will maintain its beautiful appearance year after year with very little upkeep, while you would have to keep a constant watch on your steel trailer for rust.  This also makes the resale value of an aluminum trailer higher than steel.

Another thing to keep in mind with aluminum car hauler trailers is that once you enter the arena of aluminum trailers, you are looking at a whole new realm of quality, fit and finish.  Once a company commits to building an aluminum trailer, they quickly learn to step up to a much greater level.  This is especially true at ATC, where the Quest, our aluminum car hauler trailer, is the only true all-aluminum trailer on the market today.  Give us a call today and let us show you how awesome an all-aluminum trailer can be!

Finding the Right Manufacturer

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

I typed Car Haulers in my Google search engine and it came back with over 1 million hits on those keywords.  Every kind of car hauler you could possibly imagine, steel, aluminum, open, fully enclosed, 1 car to 10 car haulers are all available at every price range.  Given all these options, how does a consumer decide which one best fits his or her needs?  The most important factor in selecting your car hauler is finding the right manufacturer.  Understanding the company’s mission, is it to be the price leader or the highest quality product with the most expensive parts, to be the largest volume producer, to be the most recognized name in car haulers, to offer the gamut of car haulers.  Obviously the mission of the car hauler manufacturer will dictate the final product affecting everything from the design of the car hauler to the delivery process.  How many years has the manufacturer been building car haulers?  There is constant change…car dimensions change, consumer preferences change, more storage, sleeping quarters, bathroom facilities, awnings, entrance door widths, rear ramp door heights, tow vehicle capabilities.  You want a manufacturer who has the knowledge and experience to understand your needs, not only for your trailer but for resale, you want a trailer that holds its market value.  ATC & Motiv Trailers is a niche manufacturer of enclosed car haulers and has been for the last 8 years building car haulers for the weekend race enthusiast, the classic car buff, and for the professional race team.  Our sales team along with our design and structural engineers knowledge and experience insure that every car hauler manufactured by ATC & Motiv Trailers is built to our customers exacting standards equipped especially for them.

We’ve taken enclosed car haulers to a whole new level!

Monday, February 16th, 2009

Think all trailers were created equally?  Think again!  Here at ATC and Motiv, we’ve taken enclosed car haulers to a whole new level.  We are driven by quality and craftsmanship…not by quantity.  Our ATC all-aluminum enclosed car haulers are the strongest, lightest, and best looking trailers around.  Features like polished cast aluminum corners, stainless steel verticals, screwless exterior, and LED lights are just a few of the things that make our trailers stand out from the rest – and that’s just on the outside.  Take a look inside and you’ll see our custom cabinets, recessed fluorescent lights, maybe some screwless interior aluminum walls and ceiling…everything you could want to make your trailer the best looking one around.  If you love ATC’s world class quality but are on a budget, check out our Motiv Trailers line of steel enclosed car haulers.  Built by the same Amish craftsmen, they offer a more economical alternative to aluminum.

Want your enclosed car hauler designed exactly how you want it?  That’s no problem either.  Our engineers are happy to work with your custom needs.  While other manufacturers turn out enclosed car haulers that are a dime a dozen, we take pride in the fact that we rarely build identical trailers.  We’ll do whatever it takes to accommodate your car, team, and tools – and we’ll do it with style!  Steel or all-aluminum, tag or gooseneck, we offer a trailer that’s perfect for you.

Car Hauler – Full Tube Construction

Friday, May 9th, 2008

If you’re familiar with ATC you already know we build one of the finest car hauler trailers available in the industry…but did you know that we build each and every ATC trailer utilizing an ALL tube construction?

That’s right, when it came to designing our frames we didn’t cut corners or use inferior materials. Every structural component on an ATC trailer is built with aluminum tubing. Other manufacturers use less expensive and weaker extrusions like L-angles, I-beams, Z-rails and other open ended extrusions.

At ATC we know the foundation of every trailer begins with a solid frame, not only in design but in the materials we use. So if you’re comparing our trailer to our competitors, realize what you’re getting before you invest your hard-earned dollars. At ATC we build better trailers with better materials.
