Speclin Emergency Vehicle Sales was established in 1989 and is located near Pittsburgh in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. Specializing in AEV (American Emergency Vehicles) Ambulance and Emergency Response Vehicle Sales, Speclin also has satellite offices located in Lancaster and Montrose, PA.
Along with Ambulance and Emergency Response Vehicles, Speclin also offers Sales and Service of Handicap Accessible Vehicles ranging from Personal to Commercial and from Full-Size to Mini-van applications. Custom accessible vehicles and accessories are also available.
In 2006, Speclin and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) coordinated construction of the first SMART (Simulation Medical and Advanced Resource Training) unit with Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) of Nappanee, Indiana. The UPMC unit offers state of the art high fidelity medical simulation training and actual emergency response in a completely self sufficient 46’ mobile unit. The addition of satellite linking capability and WIFI technology enables unequaled educational or emergency medical communication capabilities to and from the UPMC designed SMART mobile medical unit.
