DAV at EAA Oshkosh 2008

August 12th, 2008
AirSupport\'s DAV Display Trailer

The Disabled American Veterans Aviation Public Outreach Program was at this year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh along with our own Dale Davis.  Dale is our Corporate Solutions Director here at ATC and was a key player in the creation of AirSupport’s DAV display trailer.  According to Dale,  thousands of EAA guests stopped by to get a close-up look at the B-25 airplane and the DAV display that featured videos and information about DAV.   “It’s always great to see one of our trailers in use, but being here and seeing the display reach so many people really makes my job enjoyable” says Dale.

You can find more information about the DAV display as well as AirSupport at www.airsupport.com.

Do you see what I see?

July 23rd, 2008

Okay, so maybe it isn’t Christmas but with our new photo gallery it may seem like you get a little Christmas in July!  We have said before that a picture is worth a thousand words.  Well our gallery is speaking well over a million words then and it will continue to grow!  If I were to try to explain to you everything we do in words, I’m sure a million words would not even come close to helping you fully understand the type of trailer we can build fo you.  But our hope is that if you look at our gallery, you will not only see things we have done but also get ideas for what you need!  So check out our new gallery and start dreaming of the trailer we can build for you!

A place to stay

July 22nd, 2008

Elkhart county is known as the RV capital, but with high gas prices and a slower economy it’s a big investment to buy an RV and a trailer to haul your toys and equipment.  Our living quarters offer you both in one great package!  You can still get good gas mileage with your pickup, haul your cargo and have a place to sleep!  We offer a variety of layouts and we can customize the trailer to fit your needs.  So take a look at our living quarters page to get an idea of what you may want and let us know how we can help get you in a living quarters trailer.

Preventing Rust

July 22nd, 2008

Here at ATC & Motiv we try hard to build a trailer that will last for you.  Unfortunately, there are elements that eat away at your trailer.  Rust is a problem on nearly all vehicles.  With our ATC brand, we don’t have to worry as the frame is built completely out of aluminum.  But with our Motiv brand, that steel frame is a perfect target for rust.  That is why we recently started coating all of our steel frames with BASF’s DegaCoat.   DegaCoat is a non-fibered, emulsified-asphalt designed to provide a durable protective coating for use on structural frames or metal surfaces.  A frame with DegaCoat will outlast a standard painted because DegaCoat is so resilient to chips and dings.  We are confident that you will be happy with the way your steel frame will last with this new DegaCoat finish.

Custom and Commercial Trailers

July 21st, 2008

We recently completed our Custom Trailers page and we are proud to show so many different types of custom and commercial trailers we have built recently.  We have added over 700 images in over 40 galleries!  The best part is that it’s only the tip of the iceberg.  We show you a lot of what we have done to give you ideas but we are not limited to those trailers.  In fact, our only limitation is your imagination.  We challenge you to design trailers that are unique to your needs.  Don’t settle for something close, have us build it exact!

New Website Released

July 9th, 2008

We spent the past few months looking at ways to improve our site for both our customers and dealers.  After researching what we had and what we wanted we decided to start from the ground up and release a brand new site.

One of our biggest changes was the decision to combine ATC and Motiv Products into one site.  We are extremely proud of both brands and wanted to make sure you could see them both easily.  This also prompted us to combine ATC and Motiv in our quoting software for your convenience.  You can also compare features and specs from a single page.  We hope this make is easier for you to choose the right trailer for you.

We have also improved dealer finder to return more results faster.  We don’t want you to have to wait to find a great ATC & Motiv dealer when you could be visiting them instead.  Try it out and find a dealer near you.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well we believe that as well.  That is why we have added galleries and will continue to add galleries as pictures become available.  In fact, we are interested in pictures of your ATC or Motiv Trailer!  If you have some great shots of your trailer that you would like to share, contact us and let us know.

We hope that the changes we have made will make your experience with us a pleasant one.

2009 Model Lineup

June 30th, 2008

ATC and Motiv are proud to introduce our new 2009 model lineup.  Our main products feature the same quality design, build and construction, but we have changed our features a little to keep them in line with changing budgets in this economy.  Here is a short list of the improvements that we have provided to help make your choice of an ATC or Motiv simple.

  1. The ATC Quest and Motiv RSX Car Haulers and Goosenecks have had their standard features slimmed down to be more basic with lower base prices.  Those features can be easily added back in if desired as options, but will save some money for those looking for a basic unit.
  2. The ATC SS and Motiv MSX have been made into flat front trailers with the GTS and GTX trailers added as packages.  Get the same great features as before, but save a few dollars on the base units if you need to.
  3. There are more options available on all of our lines of trailers, no more hassling with limited option trailers that don’t fit your needs.  You can now simply start with a base trailer and design the trailer that fits all your needs, not just some of them.

We are constantly striving to improve our product and find new ways to make the trailer buying experience simpler and more enjoyable.  Browse our new product line and find the right trailer to fit your needs!

Snowmobile & ATV Trailer

May 9th, 2008

Bring on the snow! With an ATC snowmobile hauler, you can hit the trails all winter long with peace of mind and style. Salted roads are no problem– aluminum design means no rust for your frame! An A-Frame coupler and 2×5 inch reinforced aluminum extrusions make for a rock-solid trailer that has become an ATC trademark. Our snowmobile trailers are made for heavy-duty use, yet curb weights are only a fraction of steel trailers. The weight savings will not only improve your fuel economy, but will also provide peace of mind as you pull your sleds down the road.

Car Hauler - Full Tube Construction

May 9th, 2008

If you’re familiar with ATC you already know we build one of the finest car hauler trailers available in the industry…but did you know that we build each and every ATC trailer utilizing an ALL tube construction?

That’s right, when it came to designing our frames we didn’t cut corners or use inferior materials. Every structural component on an ATC trailer is built with aluminum tubing. Other manufacturers use less expensive and weaker extrusions like L-angles, I-beams, Z-rails and other open ended extrusions.

At ATC we know the foundation of every trailer begins with a solid frame, not only in design but in the materials we use. So if you’re comparing our trailer to our competitors, realize what you’re getting before you invest your hard-earned dollars. At ATC we build better trailers with better materials.
