Buying A Trailer From A Dealer

The Aluminum Trailer Company has worked hard to create a dealer base that possesses an extensive knowledge of our product. It is important to ATC that our dealers are able to understand the engineering, construction and benefits of our trailers which will in return help them place the retail customer in the trailer that will best satisfy their needs. One main training program we have created for our dealers is "stacker certification training". This training program provides them with the tools they need in order to make certain the critical measurements of the vehicles being placed on the lift and main floor are obtained. Only "stacker certified" dealers are able to order and sell stacker trailers from ATC. This helps to ensure the retail customer is being sold a product by a trained professional. Please contact ATC toll free at(877) 441-2440 for an ATC dealer near you!

Fuel Savings - ATC Trailers Save Money

Yeah, you heard it right, "Buy and ATC Aluminum Trailer and Save Money". Did you know that the typical ATC all-aluminum trailer weighs 30% less than a comparably equipped steel trailer. That means when you pull your ATC trailer, you'll save 1500# in curb weight when compared to your buddy pulling a 5000# steel trailer. That is a lot of weight savings my friend! Last time I filled up my truck at the gas station they weren't exactly giving away gas. With gas prices upwards of $3.00 per gallon, wouldn't you rather pull 1500# less weight?

Another place ATC trailers will save you money is when it comes time to sell your trailer. A great looking ATC used trailer will demand a high resale value. But we'll save that discussion for another blog. Until then, Happy Trailering!

Mobile Wine Bottling

Mobile "Counter-Pressure" Bottling Now Available
By Bill Pregler
From Daily News Links, 04/17/2007
Prospero Equipment Company of Pleasantville, New York announced they are in the final assembly stages of the first mobile "counter pressure" bottling line in the United States. Featuring a GAI 1532 Isobaric monoblock the trailer will be capable of bottling any carbonated product. Isobaric bottling is performed under pressure, while still wine is bottled with non-pressurized, gravity-flow fillers. Winemakers who practice the "Charmat" style of sparkling wine production will now be able to utilize mobile services without having to purchase the expensive, specialized equipment. Charmat is a bulk process where sparkling wine is produced and fermented in pressurized stainless tanks as opposed to the traditional methode' champenoise in individual bottles. It must also be bottled under continuous pressure, from the tank to the bottle, hence the specialized monoblock. In addition this versatile equipment is also capable of bottling beer and still wines. Initially the trailer was to operate primarily in the North East portion of the country, but already there is talk of visiting the mid-western states. Following the bottle rinser and filler, the bottling line will feature multiple turrets, containing a Technovin screw capping head, a crown capper for beers, and a corker capable of inserting sparkling wine style corks. The corker then will be followed with a Robino-Galandrino wire hooder. "This is a unique opportunity for the smaller producer of Charmat and micro beers to bottle their product," said Danny Prospero, vice-president of the company. "The nine-spout filler bowl is designed for smaller runs of twenty-five bottles per minute, or about 1,000 cases per day" The U-shaped bottling line is being installed into a custom designed, heavy duty gooseneck trailer built by ATC (Aluminum Trailer Company) of Nappanee, Indiana. It will be self contained and feature on-board steam sterilization and filtration. It will not have labeling. Carbonated, counter pressure filling requires that cold bottling temperatures are maintained to keep CO2 suspended in the medium. A good analogy is the difference between opening a cold can of cola verses a warm can. Due to the inherent cold, condensation occurs on the outside of the full bottles, and as a result labels will not adhere. Bottles will be offloaded into bins or case good boxes and labeled later.

ATC Aluminum Stacker Car Hauler Trailers

The all aluminum Signature Series Stacker is specially designed for those of you who need more car hauling and cargo carrying capacity. Our Signature Series Stacker trailer enables you to bring multiple vehicles on two levels. Our precision engineered, all-aluminum frame delivers a higher payload than our competitor's steel frame stacker trailers. You might even be surprised at just how easy it is to tow an all-aluminum stacker. How is this trailer different? For starters, our all-aluminum design doesn't stop with just the frame. We offer an all-aluminum hydraulic lift, custom-designed by our innovative engineering team. This cuts the overall weight of the trailer down significantly when compared to a standard steel lift. Secondly, our attention to detail and ability to customize this trailer to your needs is simply the best in the business. We're not bragging... it's just the truth.
